George H. Williams

He graduated from Southwestern Law School in 1973 and spent the first part of his career on the other side of the personal injury table, as an insurance defense attorney. Over twenty-eight years he defended claims for three national carriers: nine at Hartford, four at Zurich, and fifteen at Travelers.

That work taught him how insurers investigate a claim, how they value it, and where they look for reasons to pay less. His trial record includes dozens of jury trials as well as bench trials, and he has arbitrated more than a thousand claims. Within personal injury his practice includes medical malpractice and products liability.

His legal career followed four years of active duty in the U.S. Navy, two of them in Southeast Asia, then seventeen years in the reserves. He retired at the rank of Commander. Much of his work today comes through referrals from former clients.
